Due to the uncertainty of the Coronavirus Pandemic, the Grand Trustees of Amaranth Grand Chapter have voted to postpone the 133rd annual Grand Session of Amaranth Grand Chapter that was scheduled for August 8-11, 2020. Many members have expressed that they will not be amenable to group gatherings this summer. We have taken into consideration the age and health concerns of our members as well as the state of the economy and thought it prudent to delay our Session. We do not know what the orders of the Governor will be in August, however in order to alleviate the minds of all concerned, it is best to cancel now rather than waiting. We will continue to monitor the Coronavirus Pandemic and the Governor’s orders regarding group gatherings as well as the comfort level of our membership regarding social gatherings. The present Grand Officers will continue to work in the best interest of Amaranth Grand Chapter until it is practical to hold an Occasional Grand Chapter or August 2021 whichever comes first. The election of Officers will be held at the earlier of those two occasions. In the interim, the Grand Trustees will continue to work diligently on strategies to keep the members engaged during this time of social distancing.
